Why didn't they stick with the facts? Why was it politically slanted?

For the obvious reasons...they have an agenda that does not include providing the facts and allowing the viewers to make their own decisions. No doubt, making money or protecting money is at the root of that agenda.

As for 9/11, I experienced it close up. I don't need a docudrama. In fact, I don't think any of us do, whether you were in NYC, DC, PA or any other part of the country. We watched it unfold only five years ago. And as with Hurricane Katrina, there is plenty of blame to go around. The bottom line is that lives were lost and families were devastated. This event woke us up and reminded us of issues our nation still needs to address.

I think the only way to truly depict the events in an honest and dignified way is thru a thoughtful documentary.

Because there is no such thing as a historical movie. If it is a movie, it has to be a docudrama. You can't show real life footage of EVERYTHING that happens in a historical point in time. You have to fill in the gaps with what you think happened based on witness accounts, documents, etc.. What makes you think it was politically slanted anyway? It looks to me that both sides, i.e., Clinton and Bush administrations, are going to get their licks in this movie before all is said and done.

There is a reason for everything we all do. My guess is their reason was to make money on 9/11. They didn't stick to the facts because that wasn't dramatic enough (I read it as they would have embarrassed someone still in office) It was politically slanted because those in charge hoped to slide the audience their way. They should have to state often in the broadcast that this is fiction and first cousin to a fairy tale.

Because whether we want to realize it or not, we no longer live in a democracy. The Republican party has a stranglehold on the nation, and the news media caters to them. Until we get "President" Bush out the White House, we will be force-fed the scripted reality they want us to see. They want us to be in constant fear, so that we will not see their true motives, which are to further oppress those that are without, and put more money into the pockets of their "country club" friends. I think it's time we opened our eyes, and remember what America is all about. It's time to take the power away from the few, and give it back to the masses. To quote "V for Vendetta", "The people shouldn't be afraid of it's Government. The Government should be afraid of the people."

Gee, is there an election coming up? Were the members of Bush administration all on the talk shows yesterday? Cheney hasn't been on "Meet The Press" in three years but son-of -gun there he was yesterday morning. for a full hour. He actually agreed with President Pinocchio and said there was no connection between Iraq and Osama but just to cover their a** Condi said just the opposite on FOX. If you do a minimal amount of research on this propaganda Docu-BullSh*t you can see they have been lying right along. America wake up!

I would love to say that it was to help those of us that have forgotten to remember but I am sad top say that it is just what the Media does. They take 30 secs to review the good things that have happened in this world and 30 hours to look at and analyze the sh@t out of the rest. The media looks at 9-11 as a good story We the people look at it as a tragedy something we can neither forget nor forgive. We saw 5000 of our American brothers and sisters die that day we saw hate and malaise that to those of us who remember can never be forgotten. To us it's not something that you make a movie about. To us it's something that you do something about. Something that we pray over something that we morn even to this day. But ABC is not the only one from Michael Moors movie to flight 93 we are seeing it. Maybe these people are trying to help us remember so that 9-11 doesn’t turn into 12-7-41. Or maybe they are just trying to make a buck at the expense of the emotions of the families left behind that day.
I have not seen any of these movies or shows nor to I plan to. To me the heat ach is still to close. I never knew even 1 of the people we lost that day but to me they were my brothers and sisters. Fellow US citizens going about their dally life’s. Regardless of Race Sex or Religion. Their loss is one that should echo in the hearts of Americans forever.
