i have been asked to join a mounted games team at the end of oct but?

Question

i`ve been asked to join a mounted games team the team will have 5 people and 5 horses on it.( which is games on horseback)
it sounds fun but the only problem is its going to cost me over $700
should i go?

has anyone every do this, is it fun?


let me know about it from your point of veiw.

i would be renting a pony, and have to pay for trailering and hotel and food.

well i did this when I was younger on ponies. ANd yes it is great fun and really one of the most exhausting forms of horseback riding!!! you need to be dog fit - and able to vault!!!! Im confused why you have to pay the $700 though - maybe its different here in Ireland, but our club used pay the entry fees etc - maybe have a chat to the club leader and see if they would be willing to pay some of the expenses.

It depends. How much do you like doing mounted games? Is there a cheaper way to do it? Is there anything you are dying to have/do that you could with $700?

Personally I wouldn't. You can always find a 4-H or mounted posse or riding club that would let you participate in the same activities for lots cheaper.
