I have been having a few problems with the car and i need to know where i can locate the in-line fuel filter, and what it looks like.

USUALLY BETWEEN THE FUEL PUMP TO THE CARB.
ITS USUALLY TRANSPARENT PLASTIC AND HAS A PAPER FILTER INSIDE WITH A ARROW POINTING TO THE CARB

The fuel filter is located under the rear of the vehicle, above the driveshaft. For access to the filter, chock the front wheels, then jack upthe rear of the car and support it on axle stands. To remove the filter, the mounting bracket must 1st be removed from the floor, after unscrewing the securing bolt. The filter can then be removed from the bracket after unscrewing the clamp bolt.

if you cant find it put your own in - line filter in under the bonnet, simply cut the fuel supply line from the tank and connect either end to the filter.
these are see through and you will see any rubbish in the fuel flowing into it.

underneath the car near the fuel tank you will need to jack your car up so make sure you use axle stands
