i do. all that day dream means is that you space out and/or sleep dream when we are awake. then yes you can have day nightmares and day dreams

yes, you can day dream good things or bad things. What ifs, the past.. a horrible future. Yes, you can have bad awake dreams.

Not really, cause unlike real dreams, you are still in control of you're daydreams. So unless you try to think of bad things, you're brain will automatically filter them out.
