No. Your IQ has nothing to do with you being a good or a bad parent.

Probably, for the childs sake mothers of 70 IQ or less shouldn't be able to reproduce. They have a some 35% chance of having a highly retarded baby and almost 90% chance the child will have an IQ of 70 or below, which is a retarded baby.
The IQ of children tends to be similar to the parents; smart parents = smart baby. dumb parents = dumb baby. Since low IQ correlates with crime I suppose it would make sense to ban people with an IQ below 85 from reproducing, as evil as it sounds XD
I suppose it isn't dumb people I have a problem with, but people that are simply horrible people and are nothing but trouble for everyone else that is a good citizen.
And IQ is simply partially genetic. Anyone studied in psychology and neuroscience and biology cannot deny the existance of hereditary intelligence.

NO I am aware of some people who have low IQs that are awesome parents of healthy normal IQ kids and high IQ parents with kids in jail. Do that then Georgie Orwell was right.

sure ...... then we (the few who're on top of issues) can strengthen a factor line in making human beings to their whims - choose a 'stupid' highway purifier there, a 'mundane' manufacturing unit worker right here - and genetically look after the destiny with 'leaders' from their very own off spring. after all a humane individual is barely one extra commodity to apply. I have little question it extremely is a different probability that categorical human beings would love your theory, or perhaps some that are practising it with glee. Thank God, if & whilst it is so, i would be properly ineffective and long previous.

Tempting but totally unfair. It is to be hoped that the availability of sex education and birth control will edify and enlighten those with the propensity to procreate...though they haven't seemed to yet.

No--but they should be screened for a tendency to believe in eugenics. After WW2, I think we've seen enough.
