what is the different between intel core solo n intel m?

my take on it is that you should be be buying core duo instead of any of
the other 2. the bus speed of the pentM is only 400mhz, the others are
either 533 or 667. pentM also runs hotter and consumes more battery.
solo is a sinlge proc, and duo is double.
so core duo is clearly the best.
i've only been selling the pentM now when dell puts them on sale for
$500 as the model 1300 running at 1.8 ghz, then thats a great price for
a laptop. when users cant afford more than that.
in my side by side tests, the $500 1300 running 1.8 outperforms the core
duo 1.66, so i only buy core duo if it is 1.8 or better!

and only when core duo is on sale.
also, prices will be coming down over the next 4 mos.
secondly, core duo 2 chips will be out in a few months.

so if i were you buying right now, i would go for a coreduo 2.0
get it on sale when you see it for $850.
