Yes, I was at home with my 15 month old daughter watching TV, when the news broke in. I called my mother at work and stayed in touch to give them all the updates that were coming in, then the second tower was hit, I sat on the floor and just cried. My boss called that evening and said not to come into work because of everything.

I was at work ( a factory at the time). We kept hearing so many stories. They were a terrible lot, they wouldn't let us listen to any radios everyone, was terrified. Finally we said *** them and listened. It was a sad day for America. It also made me have more respect for The older generation that went through Pearl Harbor. Up until then it was just a day in history.

Yes, asleep in bed as I was on nightshift. I got woken up by my sister on the phone - she was working at London's Heathrow Airport and I couldn't believe it. I switched the tv on at 4pm (UK time) and like many, was struck by shock and horror. My sister said the airport was in chaos as all the US flights had been cancelled and there were thousands of passengers at the airport. I'm a journalist and then I went to work early so we could get on with the job of reporting what had happened while we were still trying to get over the shock of it.

I was driving to college, and was about 40 miles away from my children. When I heard Dan Rather lose it on the radio waves, it was all I could do not to turn around and grab my children up. I finally made it to college though and went to my 9 o'clock class. The jerk teacher still conducted class.

At home watching the news and getting everyone off to work or school. It was/is my brother-in-laws birthday and we were planning a party for the weekend. The Party never happened.

I was at home sick when my hubby called to tell me what happened and I turned on the TV in time to watch the second plane hit the tower. I'll never forget it.

I was just about to leave my house in order to go to the beach. So I stayed a bit longer to watch the news and then carried on and went to the beach. I feel sorry for the innocent people who lost their lives that day, but to be honest the whole incident didn't really effect me.
