Especially in the drive thru, it seems that they messup so many times and you don't find out until you get to where you are going to eat and then you have to live with it.

First you should always quickly check your order even in the drive through before you pull away. Course you may have to blow your horn to get service if you find a mistake. ALWAYS be sure you have a receipt. Sometimes the order is incorrect because the person taking your order didn't hear it correct, (consider all the noise inside the restaurant, plus your vehicle running in their headphones.)
If the cashier cannot "correct" your order, ask for the manager.
If you have your receipt and are about 1/2 satisfied with the order (as is), take that receipt make a copy, email the company in question and someone will contact you about this mistake. We recently had a bad experience at McDonalds, as a result of my reporting this to the head office, the local store has been visited and "straightened out" and my mom received coupons in the mail for two free meals. PLEASE be sure your request is valid though.

you should no longer ought to learn your bag till now you pull off with the aid of fact they should get it precise the 1st time, and in the event that they did no longer comprehend your order then they should inform you that and not anticipate which you stated a double once you particularly stated a single. besides, from very own experience i detect that kfc by no skill gets my order precise (kfc and taco bell ran with the help of comparable business enterprise mockingly). it has gotten to the factor that the two i do no longer circulate or i basically park and circulate interior. it rather is a soreness fairly in case you do no longer sense like it yet i'm getting extra appropriate provider that way. i replaced right into a supervisor at mcdonalds and in some circumstances issues can get tough yet i made it priority to double examine an order till now i gave it out besides the undeniable fact that it ought to take some extra seconds reachable the order out in spite of the fact that it replaced into properly worth understanding that the client have been given what they ordered and that i does not ought to difficulty approximately that individual coming back aggravated and pissed off for no longer getting what they needed

I may get upset but i do not take it out on them personally. Because I may have ordered differently than what they have on there list. and remember its called fast for a reason. so yes they make mistakes. but i have yet to find even one of them not try to get it straightend out when i say they made a messup in my order. So why let something as little as that in your life.. upset you.....

That really used to get to me but now I'm smart by checking the freakin order before I drive off. Do that and you won't have any problems.

I try not to eat at fast food places...you listed one of the many reasons why it's a good idea to avoid them.

Yup. That's why I check the bag before I leave the lot. Learned my lesson, and Taco Bell is the worst about it.

yes, especially when it's for my son & I'm dropping him off with his grandparents so I didn't check his happy meal. Very upsetting for my son since he doesn't eat sausage or hamburgers (is it so difficult just to get an egg biscuit since it's on their happy meal breakfast menu?).

You need to TELL the store manager and follow-up with a letter. We only have one drive-through in our town, so I tell them off each and everytime they screw up my order.
You NEED to complain, otherwise it's your FAULT too. Places have been hiring the idiots of IDIOTS lately.
