I was wondering that if I were to buy a laptop from the U.S ,will it work in Europe with no problem with its original CA plug-in cable ? Or do I have to purchase a different one from Europe in order to be able to plug and use the laptop?

You'll have to get a new power supply. North America uses 110v whereas Europe uses 220-240v.

Check the back of your power supply, if you're lucky your laptop will be able to take both 110v and 220-240v and all you'll need to do is get a international adaptor.

Check the power supply of the Laptop that you are looking at. If it says 110-220 Volt, then you can buy a simple plug adapter that will work for you. You won't need the more expensive adapter that converts the voltage. That adapter is available at places like Sharper Image. Look at this one.

Laptops usually have adopter that works from 100V to 240V, so whenever u go it will work, only u may need to attach adopter on the plug because they r not same.
