i have just bought some headfones. i can hear people only through my PC speakers. not through my headfones. why? i still have one end to connect. a black connection. where does that go and will it make any difference if i connect it?

perhaps u plugged it into the wrong jack, plug it into another, and try
otherwise, look at your volume cotrol, or buy new headphones

Might be u have not connected ur headfones properly. Try to read the Manual bfore u use it. Or Otherwise ur headfones are faulty

Carefully Check whether you have connected your head phones properly to the computer.It should otherwise work.
