They're only scary when they're sitting in your kitchen and you go to nudge the dear out the door, only to have her drop all her babies that she's carrying all over the place!!!!

Well I was sitting in the living room last night and thought my husband had entered the room because my peripheral vision was instantly aware of a rather large body approaching from the other side of the room.

I turned to face it and no it wasn't my hubby - it was the largest, most powerfully built spider I've ever seen. I threw a cushion over it while I searched for a large cup with which to transport it to the outside world.

When I came back from my search - the spider was all but bench-pressing the large cushion and dragging it's muscular body out from under the structure.

Honestly - I'm not scared of spiders but that thing could have wrestled me to the ground and made me beg for mercy, no sweat.

People are programmed to fear what others fear. If You fear something, your children probably will too. It's not unique to spiders... Everything from flying to sharks to styrofoam scares people these days.

I try to unlock this... I fear nothing now. I respect alot of things, but there is no fear. It's a psychological thing.

By the way, i have scars from almost losing a leg to a venemous spider bite. I also have Bite marks from a snake on my right hand.

Try doing that with a black widow spider a few times and see what happens. I'll bet you change your tune after you get bit and your arm or whatever swells up like a grapfruit. The only good spider is a squashed dead one.

I went to pee the other day and looked over to see.... a huge spider in the bathroom sink.
I mean it was big...almost three inches, and there I am in my most vulnerable moment.
What do I do...turn and pee on the spider...It was the biggest weapon handy.
Do I.... turn on the water while trying to continue to pee, quite the milti tasker.
Do I.....grab the Lysol and try to kill it with the spray, may just make it mad.

I could go on all day like this....

What makes spiders scary are their eight, moving legs and those eyes. However, think about it. If it wasn't for spiders, there wouldn't be superheroes like SPIDER-MAN, SPIDER-WOMAN, and SPIDER-GIRL.

I am terrified of them. That's my worst phobia. I know it's probably unreasonable to some people but they really scare me and the bigger they are, the scarier they are to me. I don't know exactly what makes them so terrifying but they scare me to the point where I am paralyzed with fear.

They give me the creeps. They can drop from the ceiling in a split second, and it's hard to see them when they do, so you can't see where they went. If I see one inside, I have to kill it or I can't rest.
