Are you being clear with the story you are telling. Is the person interupting to verify facts? Often you will find people do this when you stop to take a breath. Are you being extremely boring, or just damanding of attention by voice use. It seems to be 'fun' to talk for 20 minutes or more without the page breaks and so with no consiedration to the listener who is wondering how much your taking, what is your daily dosage. Did the doctor recommend it or are you a volutary patient of the local drug pusher?

It can be a good sign! lots of people interrupt if they are interested in the conversation or have a strong opinion! It's a bad habit though!

Don't you hate it when you let someone babble on through a whole speech and the thing you could have responded to in the first place has been lost through a number of diversions.! Interuptions are the only way (sometimes) !

That they just want things done there way or no way. If they can't have the whole conversation what's the point of being their. They weren't taught to take turns in life and in taking turns talking or asking you questions either. They like to hog the entire conversation.

It means they are ignorant and are unwilling to actually LISTEN. They think their opiniions are more valid than yours. I also hate it when people are just waiting for you to finish speaking before they continue talking. it's not a conversation, it's a one way dialogue. The only answer is to walk away while they are speaking, preferably mid sentence.

That they think they are better than you, that what you're saying is of less importance, that you are, undoubtedly wrong in their eyes and that they are not interested in what you have to say. Also, perhaps that you talk to slowly and dont get to the point as quickly as they would like?!?

It might mean that you talk too much and the other person can't get a word in during a simple conversation with you.

even worse is when you think they've finished but continue just as you're about to get your bit in and they talk OVER you to finish and go on and on regardless that you're actually talking as well! These kind of people also never seem to actually look at you directly, it's always somewhere just past your shoulder !

You might also consider the speed at which you speak. If you are too slow, then people might pre-empt what they think you are going to say. Rude, but it doesnt stop it from happening.
