It all depends. Does your monitor use 12 volts? How many amps? Is your 600w PSU capable of providing the current? Can't help you without the needed info.

its posible to use as 17inch monitor consumes less tahn 150watss and cold start aroung 450 wats, i doubt cold start when power failure willl be difficult as working ac mains its ok makes no change

why bother are you using dc power?

if your using ac 220v don't worry. you can see smoke if it cannot handle the power.
