I have never physically cheated on my other half, but i did stuidly log into match.com for a laugh, and went out the other week only to give my number out. I honestly didnt want anything to happen, i love my boyfriend dearly but we have a few hard months. We are working on our relationship one last time, but i just want to rebuild the trust for him again. can it happen??

yes you can get the trust back, i have done the same in the past and it can be done but u need to figure out why u did it first or it could happen again.
a lot people do these things not because they want to cheat or because they dont love the person but because of low confidence, or attention. You obviously feel bad about this and at least your big enough to admit how you feel.

Trust is one of the hardest things to rebuild in a relationship. I was hurt about two years ago by my partner (not by cheating) and it has taken this long to actually get back to normal. If something is really really worth it then you can work through it providing it is what you both want 100%. Good luck. If it is meant to be you will both work through it. Time is a great healer.

Sadly, I don't think that it is easy to re-build trust, it is the foundation of all good relationships, and you must have been feeling pretty down with yours to go to match.com, ( not criticising you for that ),which is a sign that you know in your heart where your relationship is going. Yes, trust can be rebuilt, but it could take awhile and its definitely going to take some hard work on your part.. If you are truly committed to doing it, then it can be done..but break the trust again and it probably won't be possible..

Anything is possible if you work at it hard enough including trust... it has to happen over time along with everything involved that normally would gain your respect and trust.

yes, you can rebuild trust to a high degree, but probably never restore it totally. it will take a lot of hard work from you. you will have to make sure that you never lie, keep promises you made and allow your life to become transparent so your b/f can see that you have been honest.
