Yes it can sometime survive.
The best way is to get a spider catcher. This is a long pole with a box on with an opening that can slide shut under the spider.
Its great cause you dont have to go near the spider. Then you can run out with it and deposit it on the street.
Therefore its more effective and less bad karma, and the spider's mother won't come back to bite you in the night!

Probably not, a Hoover is a Vacuum, hence it creates a vacuum inside it. A proper vacuum will not have oxygen in it for the spider to breathe. The spider you vacuumed up has died a slow misable death and you are a murderer.

Yes it can if it is particularly large - you have to bear in mind that to a spider a trip down a hoover tube is like a ride on a rollercoaster.
The general rule is if you can hear it walk it has to die!
They do make spider catchers for girls though!

Unless the spider was killed by being battered against the side of the hose or by being mashed against all the stuff already in the dirt bag, I think it could, but I honestly think the likelihood of suffering an unsurvivable injury is the greater probability.

I'm not sure that it would be dead, but in practise they never seem to find their way out - so don't worry about it. Because their weight to surface area ratio is so low, they can survive a lot (like being thrown out of a window - doesn't apply to tarantulas, they go splat) and, perhaps, the suction would not be that damaging.

It probably has a slow, agonizing death from all the dust. I don't think it would be able to get back out. Maybe you should step on it first, then hoover it.

Spiders are resilient.....Sucking them into a vacuum isn't necessarily going to kill them, however, trying to find their way back out may be your saving grace. Spiders are more afraid of you than you are of them. If it comes back out, stomp it.

I doubt if it can get out. That means it survived the brush, the windspeed, and being buried in all the other lint, dust, etc. That's one tough spider.

It may be able to get out if you have a bagless hoover otherwise, no.
