Depends where and when you are going...

In summer you have the beaches on La Costa del Sol, from Cadiz to Granada.
In winter the skiing in Sierra Nevada, Granada.

Then, as far as cities...

Sevilla, the whole center of the city is magnificent to walk around and visit the main monuments (of which there are plenty) and streets.

Granada...the center of town, The Cathedral, La Alhambra (this is the 5 star place to visit) the Generalife gardens next to it, Barrio del Albaicín, El Sacromonte.

Córdoba, the Cathedral, La Alcazaba, the center of town.

Málaga, Castillo de Gibrálfaro, La Alameda, and all the "white villages" in the hills along the coast...

Jerez de la Frontera, with the Spanish Riding School and all the famous Sherry Bodegas (Wineries) that can be visited.

If you have plenty of time go inland to Antequera, Estepa, and along the coast to Marbella then on to Gibraltar...

You've plenty to choose from...Hope you have time to do it all!

Which part of Andalucia are you travelling to, the east or the west. If it is the west (Seville, Jerez etc) then you can find some useful information on www.andaluciarentals.co.uk, look for the pages on 'Authentic Andalucia'.

Two weeks ago I was at Isla Magica the amusement park in Seville - lovely day, though hot, but water everywhere, kids loved it!... Very nice laser/firework show at the closing!

The city of Jerez is a must see. Also, a dinner with flaminco dancing show is always good.
