Write him a letter.
Nothing like a letter 2 get a mans attention.
Tell him how U feel & fingers X'd he'll write back an equally "love"-ly letter.
:)

Lives aboard? Lives aboard what?

How many times have you seen him? Five times if you see him once a month and you've been together five months, I am assuming you talk in the meantime of course...if you love him you should tell him, if he likes you then saying that shouldn't scare him off.

What kind of a relationship do U think U'r in? Will U send your children per mail for a visit? Come on how serious can this be? Maybe U just feel alone and need sb to tell them U lov'em. Don't even try to be the 1st to tell the magic words-believe me- been there done that...He'll say yes, but U'll never know how much he means it.. so be patient-simple words like I love U will not change anything 4 U-really. The better if your partner says it first...

Honey, u & I R in the same boat here. I want to tell my bf of 4mths that I've fallen head over heels 4 him. I know how much he's into me & how much he cares 4 me bt I can't tell him incase he's nt sure if he does himself.
U neva know, he may feel the same way about u bt he doesn't want to say it incase u feel ur getting tied down into a relationship (not that that's a bad thing). If it scares him off, then he wasn't the one for u - sorry, brutal but honest - & if he is the one for u then he will stay around & will tell u how he feels once he is sure.
Hang in there!!!

Aw that is so sweet - reminds me of when I first told my boyfriend :-)

I was scared before I said it, just tried to get the word love in the conversation quite often (ie I love talking to you...I love the time we spend together etc) then checking the reaction. Eventually I just came out with it, and the best bit was that he told me he loves me right back!!

Just go for it and tell him babe - but just remember that he might not say it back right away and this isn't a bad sign ok - it just might be unexpected for him!

Good luck!

It might scare of him off, but if it does then at least that would give you some closure and you could find someone who will be there for you where you live. Once a month does not constitute a relationship.

Tread very carefully here. you may well scare him off. I'm sure that he would be aware that maybe you do love him anyway. I would try showing him that you do in some small way but I would hold back on the blurting it out yet. Its still early days, If its meant to be....there'l be plenty of time.

Hi, ok it is a dilemma but in my experience if you can subtley find out what he thinks of the relationship ie does he see it going somewhere or is it just a bit of fun then you'll have a better idea of what he's thinking so if he thinks its going to go somewhere tell him but don't make it a big deal wait till your like in the middle of sex or whatever n throw it out there n see what happens.

If the word "love" is going to scare him off, it will do so later as much as now. You might as well be honest with him.

To me, Love is a two-way traffic. It doesn't matter who moves or opens up. As long as you love him and know he loves you too, do not hesitate to tell him that you love him. If saying it now scared him off you will know he doesn't love or need you .
