fact from fiction, truth from diction. Words are powerless. Words can not hurt you unless you allow them to. And too many people allow word to hurt them. when the words as a whole form a lie, then collectively they can. But as individuals, only what you let them. If someone called me a 2 timing bigamist. Should I be hurt by it? I have never been married or cheated on anyone. So the words have no meaning or relevance to me or my life. Same as if they called me a mumble mouth poet. I do not write poetry or recite it, so why let it bother me? If someone say something to you, and you are wounded by it. It must be because they are attacking something close to you, or who you think you are. But if you know what they say is not you and haven't been. Why even entertain it?

yes.
not the actual words made up of letters but remember words are only there to comunicate and portray our emotions, they are very important and it is not the actual word that will hurt someone but its definition and the intentions that were meant by the person who said it.
i hope this helps,

By themselves, no. Words and speech harm no one.
But the meaning and the tone placed in them can. When we understand or sometimes, misunderstand what is being said, it has an effect on us, whether good or bad.
May we all be wise with the meaning in our words.

only if you give power to it. the pain is in the who and how viciously it was said.....it helps if you simply defuse the word and have enough self confidence to ignore the intent and enough maturity to either feel sorry for the idiot who was talking, or a good set of ear phones if you can't !

Yes, words even kill people's hopes. But you can't call the police, there is no evidence left.
