i read this statement on some website but people say it's not correct....
"ABLE TO BE MULTI-TASK"....
is it correct???if not,correct it???

I think it should read:
"able to multi-task"
or
"able to be a multi-tasker"
but I think "is a multi-tasker" would be better yet.

Multi-task is a verb. No, "able to be multi-task" isn't correct, but not because multi-task isn't a noun, because multi-task isn't an adjective.

Usually you'd need an adjective after "able to be".

It's not a noun. It could be a verb, part of a compound verb (as in your example, basically a verb),or it can be used as an adverb.

it's a new corporate buzzword for efficiency, that like most buzzwords is completely wrong. multi-tasking (verb) actually reduces efficiency!

a verb..because it is something you do
a noun is a person, place or thing
