The End - The Doors , simply because it embodies powerful lyrics and a great passionate crescendo with an unmatched feeling of being a part of something bigger than us. Of course though it needs to be sung by an indian possesed Jim Morrison to be truly appreciated.

There are many excellent songs out there, but I would have to go with Back in Black by AC/DC as the best rock song, although I agree that Stairway, Freebird and anything by Hendrix are all serious contenders.
