Even yamaha is not sure about it. Probably they are watching the launch of Bajaj pulsar DTS FI 220cc and customer response for it.

Hi Ashwin ...u have query of a 250 cc bike in Indian market so if u look in coming months u will see a new pulsar DTSFI which is 220 cc not a 250 cc and Honda is planning to bring a new 250 cc bike in market in some months....so have to wait...then may be yamaha also will launch but not surely a frazer.

yamaha fazer's engine is 180cc.not 250cc
