What happened to "til death do we part"? Being impotent isn't a reason for divorce. Why are you asking this question and not her? Stay out of her life, she should first get him to a doctor and find out why he is impotent. Then try some counceling.

It depends on which state you live in. In some, such as Oklahoma, impotance itself is a cause for filing divorce...however, the trend these days is the"No-Fault" divorce. The basic procedure would be to hire and retain an attorney. This person will be gathering forms, filing motions, and putting together a case should the divorce become nasty...as if it's ever pleasant. Once the divorce is filed, a court date will be set, generally within the month, but don't hold your breath if you live in a large city.
Consult with a couple lawyers, see what each of them advise for the situation, and go with it.

Impotency can be treated these days. Are you sure your sister wants a divorce in the first place and if she does, is this the only reason? Sounds like there is more to this problem than you're sharing. Suggest that the husband see a professional, I think a urologist might be able to help. If this is the only problem in the marriage then they need to really analyze their desire to stay together if they won't seek help. Then contact a lawyer, they will be able to explain what happens next.

He is not impotent, she just doesn't know how to make him want her....she is a lousy lover......teach her some things that you know, and make her a better lover with those teachings....and he will be up for all she wants, and desires
