You can come across love at any age, if you are equipped to understand what love is. Age does not make us more adequate at making a connection with another person, unless we have learned lessons and become more secure within ourselves as we have passed through life. Indeed, I think the opposite can happen in most people. Cynicism about love often happens with experience if you are not willing to free yourself from it.
Though finding one 'true love' may be pushing the boundaries of romance I believe that, if you know yourself well enough to be an individual within a relationship, you can become one with a love that is true...

Probably not (a person can find intense love at 14, but that's not the same). A person at fourteen is still figuring out who they are, so any decisions that are based on who a person is, such as "true love" are temporary. You see, if you haven't decided what your priorities in life are it's not likely that you will find a person that would fit into your life as you make those decisions.

Yes, you can find true love at 14, at 16 and every doubled age after that, so 28, 32, 56, 64, 112 and 128. Since most people don't grow as old as 112, everyone gets 6 chances of finding true love.

Teenagers generally don't start making real rational decisions until around 16 years of age when the brain is more developed. Don't be in a rush to grow up. You need to really know a person before knowing how you really feel about them.

no, sorry to say. teenagers' brains aren't fully mature and their hormones are jumping all over the place because they are at that place where their bodies are doing a lot of changes. it might seem like love but it's actually a crush, a deep like. you have a lot going on inside your bodies and you will be changing more in the next 5 years. is okay to like someone now but don't expect either one of you to make a life commitment. teens go thru a few relationships, even people in their twenties. just enjoy each other's company and don't be crushed when/if it ends. you have so many years ahead of you to find out who you really are and to find that one true love.

To find your true love, you must first find yourself. Nobody knows themselves at 14. Give yourself time to do that and the rest will fall into place.

Absolutely not ... you can understand what love is, but you're not even a complete person then. You will go through so many changes before you even graduate high school. You will look back and wonder what the heck you were thinking.
