There are only two states with year-round tropical climates: Hawaii and (Southern) Florida.

As others have said, both Florida and Hawaii have weather that's the closest to that of much of India. Florida is probably the most similar, and more so in the southern part of the state than in the northern.

But you'll find similarities in the weather throughout the southeastern US states. Look also at Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and South Carolina. Part of Texas may also fit.

TEXAS!!! Others have mentioned Florida but Florida is definitely not like India. Are you used to hurricanes destroying your state 4 months out of the year? Didn't think so.

If it is coastal type, Florida comes first to mind. California is also quite similar to typical Indian weather.
