My mother did not have pierced ears. She felt that it was "not done" (i.e., polite women did not do that sort of thing).
I don't have pierced ears, either, but my three younger sisters do...but, only one hole per ear!

My mom has none but I got three in each ear so she won't need any. She would only feel the need to darn or suture it! Awww Doctor Mom

Just once. In their day, probably not considered nice or fashionable to have more than one piercing. For me, I am pain adverse, so just one hole pls!

None and neither does my wife nor my sisters. They feel men don't go out with women with holes in their heads. LOL
