For me, it's fun to discover answers to things I didn't know I didn't know and waffle on about things I do know - what are your reasons for being here on this site? Just curious.

Because I am disabled and this makes my brain work, and stops me geting bored while my husband is at work all day. It also helps me feel better about myself, when I get things right or get best answer, so its good for the soul.

I find it quite interesting. It is like chatting with invisible friends, having a good laugh sometimes reading some answers, and also I come to know about a lot of things which I am unaware of.
I like sharing my views and the things I know.

I think its a place some people use it to genuinly share thier concerns and experiences and spectrum of information can be surprising.I like the variety of topics that are available and ceratinly makes more sense than talking to starngers in chatrooms

i like people
i like learning.. and i love to know thru many answers, and questions that i am not alone in my thinking,
also sometimes, it is an escape
sometimes, i can vent,, and that is not right, because i should be open minded
sometimes, someone may ask a question, and i feel i have the experience, and compasssion to answer and touch them,,reach them,, and they feel it
Sometimes, it makes me feel like i lhave value and worth when i feel old and useless.
I also like hearing the attitudes of men and women, and younger ones and older ones,
I am an older one, yet i never want to be "TOO OLD TO LEARN, OR CARE"
so that is why ,,

Its a good diversion during my day and it can be informative and often some of the answers crack me up. Initially I came on with a question which was answered very helpfully...sort of addicted a bit now!

I'm a yahoo answers virgin, but have to say I've already found it quite informative and addictive! I should be working though! To me it's just another portal to engage in debate and practice my typing skills!
