Hair removal cream might be your best bet.
The trouble is for some people it sometimes just breaks the hair off at the surface so still feels a little rough. The way I minimise this is to leave it on longer than suggested (do a patch test first so you know you wont react to it!) I have the Veet in-shower stuff, they suggest 6 minutes maximum but i leave it for 15. Then don't just rinse it off- scrub it with a sponge (Boots facial exfoliating one is best, much better than the one they provide).
It's not always a perfect finish- I know people who swear by it and others who have trouble like I do- but it means no shaving bumps and no painful waxing, and you dont have to wait too long for it to grow before doing it again. Give it a try!

You could use Cream or lotions that remove hair quite easily...or for a more permanent solution, u could get laser treatment (to be honest, this process is just about as bad as waxing but its only a once off thing)

DO NOT USE IMMAC/VEET!!!!!! It will burn your flange and it will be the most horrible sensation/pain, plus it will end up peeling and blistering, NOT very attractive! Im afraid the only thing you can do is grit your teeth on your thong and wax. IT will be stingy the first few times, but believe me it does kinda seem to be less painful as time goes on! And you are hair free for much longer.

TWEEZERS! It sounds painful but it really isn't, its about as painful as tweezing your eyebrows and thats not painful is it!?
Tweezers are great cos you can get a really nice line and shape your hair into whatever shape you want! The good thing about plucking the pubic hair is that you pull the root out so it takes longer to grow back and it doesn't come back as a nasty stubble rash!

waxing really is the best way to go although it hurts like theres no tomorrow you wont get as many ingrown hairs nor will you get those bumps
i wouldnt use a hair removal cream as it could irritate the area

I have mine sugared off completely every four weeks. Yes, it hurts, but not as much as I expected it to and it gets easier the more you have it done.
I have used Veet and that can sting a little. It says not to on the box but it is a warning so that there are no law suits. The new showerproof one is good.
Shaving is the worst method as it promotes growth.

Waxing is the best way so have a few vodka shots and get on with it! after the first time it will no longer hurt.

only wax i think. if you start to shave it will grow back twice as quick and becasue the area of skin is delicate you will get more ingrown hairs and red lumps
