My mother was 40 when she accidentally fell pregnant with me. All through out they said the scan showed I have water on the brain, and the Doctor offered her an emergency abortion, to prevent complications all through out.
Luckily my mother is very religious and believed God has his reasons.
She went ahead and had me, despite what all the specialist said, and I'm a perfectly bright and fit young woman now, studying Graphic and Web Design at college now.
Obviously scans and sonars have improved, but in the end it's up to you what you feel in you're heart.

I lost a nephew who was born with water on the brain,sorry.I would get more info from the doctor before jumping to bad conclusions.
