I always say to my son that the old Ninja Turtles are better. I tell him that if he likes the Ninja Turtles now, then he haven't seen anything yet because the old Ninja Turtles are much better than the new. They were much smarter, stronger, funnier and the story lines were much more interesting than the new ones. The Ninja Turtles now, in my opinion, are confused, sloppy, and the story lines are weak. Also, they have made Master Splinter dull and weak too. I liked all of them and really like my "narley dude" Michelangelo.

The original black and white comics published Mirage are the best version, bar none. It was a parody of the popular comics of the day and still holds up extremly well (since ninja's and mutants still seem to be pretty popular).
All the animated versions and movies are for children and toy licensing, this was the pure original form of the charaters as Eastman and Laird created them.

When the new ninja turtles started I thought the old series was better especially the theme tune butwhen I watched an old episode I realised that I preferred the new series.The graphics are a lot better and so are the story lines!Thats what I think anyway.

The ones on TV today are to P.C. it's unreal. The Turtles were all about saving April and eating pizza and what's happened to Mickey's video collection? Now it's about fighting on a different plane and focusing your inner energy. These are not the Turtles I grew up with in the 80s/90s.

Yes definately. Leonardo, Michaelangilo, Donatello and Raphael. I used to have the Michaelangilo puppet when I was a child. "Heros in a hard shell, Turtle Power!!!!" My husband thinks it's hilarious as I used to think the lyric was "Heros in a half shell". Well i was only a kid!!!!

Weren't the old ones 'hero' turtles?
It was 'ninja' in the original comic, but I seem to remember them getting rebranded as 'hero' when they got famous...

hmmmm... I didnt know there where new ones. Im sure the old ones were better I suppose they have better graphics now, and all that. Load of rubbish :D

The originals are better than the new recreated ones
I started watiching the new one, and never got into it.
They ruined the whole thing!

The new ones have those black eyes, like evil characters.
I prefered the old ones with the more "human" faces and eyes.
