Do any of you agree that Europeans are annoying?

I am getting tired of smart a s s Europeans. They think that they are better than Americans. We should have let them deal with their own problems during World War II. All they do all day is come up with stupid retorical comments about the USA while sipping over espresso. Those Europeans are real idiots. I think that more Americans should start giving Europeans the cold shoulder. The United States has been around less then Europe yet we have accomplished more. The reason why I am writing this is because I almost got into a fight with a stupid European. If my friends were not there to stop me, I would have beaten the crap out of that little twerp.

I agree, but I think a lot of Europeans are up now, so you're going to get a lot of angry responses. Oh and by the way, I don't think ALL Europeans are annoying, I even have a friend in Finland. But overall, I definately see what you're saying.

You're calling Europeans annoying??? What do you think you're being right now? How would you like everyone in the world to think that all Americans are exactly like you? You may think that's alright but I bet your fellow citizens would cringe at the thought. You can't honestly think that a few obnoxious people represent an entire continent. Do you have any clue as to the many different countries and cultures there are in Europe? Probably not.
America is a great country but in no way makes you superior just because you happened to be born there. Look around you and notice some of your fellow Americans who most likely originated from somewhere in Europe. Maybe there's a branch from your family tree there too.
It seems you're trying hard to prove something to somebody. Your attempt at looking tough screams insecurity to me. Maybe you feel a "part" of you is lacking somewhat. You can have a procedure done to correct that problem though. Good luck.

We had better learn to be more tolerant of one another. We are all in this mess with the Moslims and I frankly don't care who is more pretentious or smarter or whatever. We are all human beings and in the case of pure learning I frankly believe that the Europeans in most countries are better schooled than we are. Americans have gone down hill since WW2 and it seems that we are continuing to slip badly. Why? I don't know what spurs on the Europeans but here in the USA we seem to obsessed with new TVs, cameras, mobile phones, cars, and on and on. However, are we really concerned about education? I don't think so. We are turning out less lawyers, less teachers, less engineers. Asia produces the smart ones. Probably smarter than Europe. Western culture is eroding.

I am so tired of Americans (and I am one, born raised, pround and a veteran), that do not understand the concept of dignity and respect. You get what you dish out on here, and including an entire culture in a statement not only makes you a rascist, but lets the entire concept of democracy down. We would not be where we are at if not for 'those stupid Europeans' as you put it, nor would we be even tasting the milk and honey of this land if it were not for all the people that have come to this land to help produce one of the most diverse nations in written history. You need to take your butt back to the first grade and start over again, and this time pay attention to what your elders are teaching you, for you are bound, just from your statements, to repeat the errors of so many and put a blemish on the land that I have fought for, and many have fought and died for. I, just in my opinion, believe you to be the type of person that thinks that just because you were born here or live here, think that YOU are better than everyone else, it is you that have the idiotic ideas, and yes, I wish your friends would of let you get into that fight ... you would of probably gotten the chit kicked out of you and it would of taught you some manners. I find it amusing when Americans always bring up ww2. Come on now, that's been said way too many times to make an impact with anyone anymore. I wonder where your ancestors originated from? Doesn't matter because either way you're an idiot. I'd be interested to see what would happen to America if you did give Europe the cold shoulder. I'm sure you think you'd be fine. lol

Yeah it does get old quick. You shouldn't assume that all Europeans are that way, though. Think of all the Europeans who have never acted snotty towards Americans, don't focus solely on the loud mouthed ones. If you only focus on their negative traits then you'll be acting just like those who you dislike.

How have we accomplished more than Europe? Europe is rich with history, art, literature, architecture, etc.

Some Europeans really annoy me, I admit. I went to Barcelona last summer for a few weeks, they acted like they were superior and they always came across as pretentious. But many Americans annoy me too, so I would call it even. You should have kicked his ***, filmed it and posted it on youtube. Good times.

If you believe that Americans are better than the Europeans , If you think that you are more cultural people that Europeans , then I suggest to go back to school and read carefully our History . True-SOME OF THE EUROPEANS are annoying snobs. Most of them are pleasant enough. Some Americans are brash and rude. Most of them are OK. Let's look for the good in each other. WW 2 was won by the ALLIES. We need to thank God that we won. What would a fight have accomplished. I dare say that you each would have kept your feelings toward each other, regardless of the fight's outcome.

The same process is happening in Europe as well. In my country, the Netherlands, education is getting worser and worser. The quality of students at the university is downgrading. It could be typically Dutch though. Germany and Belgium have a better education system, i guess. Another example is Britain. The universities of Oxford and Cambridge used to be exclusively for people with the highest grades. Nowadays also rich people can go there.
