I have sent flowers to men before, and every single time it made a big impression. If you really want to be remembered, send flowers!
The last man I sent flowers to for romantic reasons is now my husband. When I sent them to him when we were first dating, he told me he was very impressed because usually the burden of sending a nice gift is placed on the man. He said the man is expected to do everything, from asking for the date, to picking the woman up, to paying for everything. He had never had someone send him something like that before, and he really liked it. He said it made him feel special, and it also made him feel like I was willing to be a responsible person in a relationship, and not just a princess who always was asking "what's in it for me". He told me all the women he dated before expected nice things from him and wanted to be spoiled, so he liked being the spoiled one for a change.
With that said, I wouldn't send flowers all the time, and I would stay away from very feminine colors like pink and lavender, but I think sending a man flowers or other gifts from time to time is perfectly acceptable. I have never heard a complaint, anyway :)
(By the way, I have never sent a whole bouquet or a big floral arrangement. I have sent several ROSES arranged nicely, and that's it. I would not send any other type of flower, but roses speak volumes about how you feel about someone.)

I don't suggest doing it in front of anyone, but yes, getting flowers from a girl is VERY sexy. Men pay more attention to the meaning of the colored roses and goes with that intent. But if a guy cops an attitude about it, he's insecure and probably doesn't deserve them anyway. Yes, flowers for a guy is a good bet.

As a guy, Personally, I wouldn't mind getting a flower. No bouquets or anything but like a single rose or something would be cool.

i would like to be given roses so the gurls can have somthing to worry about in valentines day too. Its really hard to find roses on some hoidays. Maybe we should all get together and just switch this role for a while.

There is no hard and fast rules as such. But the fact remains that flowers are tender and tenderness relates to ladies.
Guys like to be manly and tough. So give him something made out of wood, so that his ego is not hurt.
If ur friend is person who like flowers go ahead and give him some flowers.
Its your decison to gift so the choice is urs.

I planned a romantic weekend at home with my husband. So, I went out and got 3 dozen roses. When he came home from work, there were rose petals leading from the door to our dinner table. I'd made his favorite dish, fixed the table, had the remaining roses in a lovely centerpiece... pulled out all the stops. I think he appreciated it because I got thanked many, MANY times that night.

Personally, no.
I'm a man and I am comfortably in touch with my feminine side, but flowers, well, they just don't do it for me. I'd be happier with a potted plant if I HAD to receive some flowers!

well as a guy i would not like it if my gf gave me flowers. i would be like what do u want me to do with these, u know. guys like something that they can use. i think u give girls flowers to show them u appreciate them and love them, so i do think they are feminine.

Don't do it, I would just be belwidered what are you suposed to do with them?
Instead a pint or something practicle is a better present. MY favorite presents are always things thay I can use like a multi tool or bottle opener or indeed a nice pint of larger.

as for me , its real emotion if gals gives rose instead of flowers , bcoz its an indication of love & affection attached to an individual person more then giving any material things..........
