The people in Lebanon hate lots of other people, except those who have caused them the most pain and suffering, Hizbollah and Iran. If Hizbollah stopped attacking Israel, Israel would stop bombing Lebanon. If Hizbollah stopped hiding behind civilians, Israel would stop killing the civilians in front of them. If Hizbollah started wearing uniforms, Israel would not think civilians were Hizbollah. The farmers who help Hizbollah are combatants by the way, just like the rest of Hizbollah and none of them are entitled to the Geneva conventions because they do not wear uniforms or follow the conventions.
If they hate Blair, they are wasting their time/energy and they are never going to fix their country because Israel will destroy it after Hizbollah launches their next attack. Lebanon was doing just fine until Hizbollah attacked. The difference this time is that Israel lost their patience, because they have to keep enduring these attacks. Did they disproprtionally respond yes; however, their proportional response has not worked to stop Hizballah. Hopefully the Lebanese will connect the dots, Hizballah attacks Israel, Lebanon gets destroyed, and stop supporting the terrorists.

A British Prime minister should do what he is supposed to do. Be a British Prime minister. He was voted by the BRITISH. He has no right to govern the middle-east. He was not voted by them, nor were they (middile-east)given the chance to vote in the British elections. He should sort out Britain first. We have so many problems in Britain such as crime, NHS, public services, schools, and so many more things. The government always says "we have no money left", yet when there's a war in the middle-east, out of the blue, the UK government comes out with millions after millions. This is why he is hated so much in the middle-east (Lebanon) and in the UK its self.

All of you Brits that are finding fault with old Tony need to realize that he is the LEADER of the UK and you are the FOLLOWERS. A good leader charts the course and starts the trip. The dissenters, he needs to PULL along. The more dissenters, the harder he needs to pull. Did any of you notice that he is still pulling even though the pull is getting more difficult for him? I doubt that a leader of his caliber worries too much about what the Lebanese think of him. He would rather that most of you Brits dry the moisture out from behind your ears and FOLLOW him instead of pulling against him.

Precisely. The man has no credibility with anyone. Not the British people, and that is not overstating the point. Peacebroker?... What a joke? Then he goes and tells them they need to change their method of governance. I am sick of that dude's arrogance.
