35 weeks pregnant and cant sleep for more than an hour at a time. Feeling like a zombie after 4 weeks of this. Any suggestions?

Find an old text book from school and try to read it...puts you right to sleep.

I think some things that may help is to reduce your stress levels. Maybe you are too busy or have too much going on. Something that might be good for both you and the baby would be meditation. Or perhaps try some Tai Chi - a very slow moving relaxation technique. Some of the caffine teas such as Sleepy Time by Celestial Seasonings could help also. If you are drinking any caffine - cut it out of your diet, that would help. Deep breathing exercises can help not only with sleep, but with the upcoming birth as well. And hang in there - the baby will be here soon.

I was like that with my first. You need to stop thinking about how much you want to sleep, go for a long walk, have a nice hot bath and then watch your fav. film, you will relax if nothing else, my bet is you´ll be counting zzz´s in no time!

Its quite common hon I would suggest a chamomile tea or try sleeping in a comfy chair!

Try to find some comfortable possision when you feel to sleep. this is normal for when you are 35 week pregnant. your stamuck is getting bigger thats why you feel this.
