Mauritius, The Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Bahamas, Aruba or Turks and Caicos Islands..
I'm going away in about 5 weeks time but where I go will be determined by how expenisve it will be when I get there - e.g I don't want to go somewhere where public transportation and food costs a fortune. I'm considering either staying in a studio [self catering] , or at a hotel with breakfast or half board.. thanks!

As you say LISTED I would say Mauritius...its a holiday and honeymoon island and is cheap. Unlisted I would say Goa but you will have to get a move on as it gets booked early as Bombayites go there for Christmas and Divali. Enjoy the sun whilst you are there!!!!

I would say Mauritius as the rest are pretty high in the expense list but are more exoctic. Try Sri Lanka or Goa in India if you have the time as they are pretty cheap and beautiful. Not sure where your from though!!
