Abortion is murder where as if you take the morning after pill, you are taking it before you would have known if anything was happening in there.

I personally don't believe in either but accidents can happen (as well as rape) so the morning after pill can be useful in the first 48 hours.

The morning after pill is a precaution rather than an act, if you know what I mean.

Hmmm...I think a woman should only have an abortion if her life is in danger. I don't really think that pill and abortion are the same because you take that pill so early on that even though there is an embryo it's only so many hours old. No one has an abortion that early. Another thing I'd think 99% of women who take that pill aren't pregnant~

Its not the same thing.
."The phrase "morning-after pill" is a misnomer that is falling out of use due to the fact they are licensed for use up to 72 hours after sexual intercourse. Emergency contraception or "emergency contraceptive pills" is the phrase preferred by the medical community. Unlike chemical abortion, emergency contraception does not end pregnancies and will not harm a developing embryo."

No. The morning after pill is to prevent conception. With abortion, the conception has already occurred.

ABORTION IS MURDER...Even if raped....IT'S STILL MURDER!
I agree with the one who said unless the mother is in danger of losing her life, then removal of an underdeveloped embryo that is BY FAR not able to survive at a few weeks after conception can happen but even then, it's considered MISCARRIED. the morning after pill, I agree with the one who said that it PREVENTS the pregnancy and the implantation of the uterine walls.

The morning after pill is NOT the same thing. It PREVENTS a pregnancy from occuring, it does NOT end one. It prevents the sperm and egg from fertilizing....that's all it does. It will not end a pregnancy. It is not a form of abortion.

I think it is up to the individual involved and the circumstances surrounding the pregnancy, you can't judge someone for making their own choice what to do. The morning after pill is a means to prevent pregnancy.

i think that it is a personal issue that is the choice of the people involved.

The morning after is taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex, it is not a fully formed foetus yet. If you are against the morning after pill then you should too be against the normal pill.

I think it is murder, but I also believe that the mother should welcome the sperm. Pregnancies from rape should be terminated if that is what the mother wants. Abortion is not a form of birth control for those who refuse to use the other methods.
