I think kids are made to grow up way to fast these days. And it just keeps getting worse. The only thing that any one can do is the parents. They need to guide and supervise their kids.

1) It's hardly an emergency, is it?
2) Yeh, yeh, celebrities market themselves at children only because children have the largest disposable income; and where do they get it from? Their parents. If parents could muster up the courage to tell their kids: no! You can't watch that, you can't have this Bratz doll, and you can't have a padded bra, then there wouldn't be a problem. Unfortunately, parents seem to have decided that they'd rather be their kids best friends, and have abrogated all actual parenting, in case they upset the little darlings or in some way damage their fragile self-esteem...
I'm ranting, sorry. The bottom line is simple: When it comes to kids, the buck stops with the parents. They are ultimately responsible.

Maybe, but I don't think this is an emergency. I think that schools influence kids more, I just think kids (and everyone) need to think for themselves. Like in P!nk's song 'Stupid Girls' it's about girls not really thinking for themselves. I've always acted more mature then I am, and I don't get outside enough, lol! I am totally veering off track here, sorry. And six year olds wearing padded bras? I don't think so, that's exaggerating.

It's just not right... but I don't know if I'd be worried about the fact that 6 year olds r wearin padded bras, I'd b more worried about who it was that was buying them 4 them 2 wear.... cuz a 6 yearold couldn't really afford to buy one for themselves....

Yes I think they do, but it is the dumb parents who allow their children to dress like that. My mother hates it when my back is showing when I am leaning over. So i don't know how some people let their daughters leave the house in low cut shirts and skirts that are the width of a tube top.

I think it all depends on what the parents do to encourage/discourage it. I mean if you're buying your 6 year old daughter a padded bra, then that's your own fault!

I can't stand the Bratz dolls for that reason. They dress too sexy for child's play. I won't buy my niece one. It's ridiculous at such young ages that CHILDREN are worried about their weight and self image.

1st of all, Thx for asking this ques. I appreciate for that. Yea u r right. This is getting a big disease for all the youngers. Even though I'm young, I try to ignore these. Thx to my parents. I think all parents must pay attention to this activity and should discourage their children. thx again.
