after 25 years of WHAT ?
If you implied, independence of 15th August, 1947, well nothing much, in fact it went a bit low economically, and nothing wrong in it... because, when we construct a building, we dig a pit to lay foundation, and bigger the building's plan , deeper and longer the pit remains since stronger the need of foundation !

How can India truly exist when its left arm was cut off ? Pakistan was part of India and so was Bangladesh. India was hurt and bruised. To make it worse, north India is Indo Europeans and South are Dravadians, totally different people!
But the people are intelligent tho.

The reservation might have gone to 100 % driving all unreserved persons out of the country. The standard of education might have dipped to the lowest levels and consequently the country may be under great economic debt and virtually a slave to the super powers of that time.It will be "Brain drained nation"

Well friend ,I am quiet positive about India's success in coming years.
This success will be attributed to India's Professionals, Corporates, knowledge,growing market and purchasing power.
But with some positive things there are Negative aspects too.
It depends how Indian Govt. respond towards it.
Definetely Poverty ,corruption and meeting growing population demand will be important challenges .
But have optimismtic attitude.
Already various powerful countries have realised India as growing identity.US and China are key competitors.

Population has crossed 1000M, Revenue is increased,Problems are same as every year,Politics has become worst,In IT,progress is there,In sports no progress is there, bollywood is matured,and many more things to say
