because they like to chance it, everyone likes to think they r getting a bargain, and a lot of them dont even have enough money in the first place

They're standing around looking for flaws, pointing them out, making decisions to change things and hoping that you'll lower the price to cover their cost.
I did that too when I was house hunting, but I did it in my head, not out loud and I didn't get silly with it. I didn't try to exclude the cost of paint, but I did include the cost of new inside doors since every one of them in the house is damaged in some way, then cut it in half. I wanted the doors replaced because I didn't damage them, but then again, he didn't want to replace them either.
Through all of the negotiations and considering the damage already done, we offer $4500.00 less than the asking price and got the house.

because usually they dont even have the money to start with, but just want to live in their 'fantasy world' for those 15-20mins or however long it takes...
i totally hate it man...
