All of us everyday! It's a crime the large banks get away with it all the time. I have been charged £300 before for 1 day for being over drawn by £5 that were the bank charges anyway! Even though money clearing was 12 hrs late due to bank holiday! Then all my direct debits cancelled £25 ago then another £25 to re-in state.

Lots of people but there is wonderful news! Read on:

if you have had a charge for being overdrawn or non-payment of direct debit then the banks can only rightfully charge you £12.00 per go. If they have charged you more than this you can ask for a refund for the last 6 years' worth!!! This is no bull ****.

A friend of mine at work did this and she was reimbursed £700.00!!!

It has come to light that there have been so many complaints to the ombudsman that they have changed the law on banks so that they can't charge unfair rates. I have recently sent off a letter asking them to refund me and am waiting for the reply. With what I have paid over the years I should be able to go on holiday abroad for the first time!!!!!

:p

I went overdrawn by 1p and had a nasty letter sent to me saying I owed the bank £25!! Not happy, I went to the bank and argued my case, and in the end they dropped the charges because I said I would move my money elsewhere unless they dropped the case!!

how do you think bank managers get such a big salary

there all w@nkers the lot of them

I got a £25 charge once for a letter they sent me to tell me they would charge me £35 for going overdrawn

the worst of it is that it was their letter that sent me overdrawn.

I sent a letter back with an invoice for £75 to cover my admin charges and I am still awaiting payment !!!
