Moist heating pads are great for temporary pain relief. Nagging discomfort or severe pain can be relieved for a short time with the use of your moist heating pad. Although these pads can give you quick relief, you should always consult with your doctor about treatment.

Monitor the foods you consume. It is common for arthritis patients to have sensitivity to foods and not even know it. Make a list of all the food you eat so that you know what is causing you any sort of discomfort. You might discover some patterns, and even find out what’s causing flare-ups.

Sounds like Rheumatoid Arthritis. Mine started in my fingers. See an MD and get a referral to a Rheumatologist. Catching it early helps prevent major joint damage later on. I was 32 when I was diagnosed. Ten years with treatment, I'm lots better!

Joint pain or stiffness of the joint may be caused by overexertion, injuries, arthritis, muscle pain, bursitis and other diseases. Depending on the cause of the joint pain, joints on both sides of the body and small or large joints may be affected. Some types of joint pains can be completely cured but for other types of joint pain (like pain caused by osteoarthritis), treatment will only reduce the pain. Arthritis, it can be very painful. Early morning is when I notice the pain and stiffness the most. See your Doctor to determine what type of arthritis and discuss possible treatments.

Its nothing serious.....
Its just because of the improper blood circulation at this point...
While sleeping you might have slept tightend your hand between your legs or heads etc... for a long time. this may stop the blood circulation at that point.... which may cause some pain to your hands and also it will get stiff...
If you feel it as very serious go and consult the doctor....
