your video card is not compatible with your CPU. I have the same experience before and it is recommended that you change to a suitable videocard

It seem like a resolution issue and the problem might reside on the video card. If possible, re install the drivers (In safe mode, remove the video card and reset your computer)... make sure you have the drivers before you remove the card.
If it doesn't work, try another video card.
Your monitor is not able to work at the video card's resolution and that's why it goes black.

I would guess that your monitor is failing. Do you have or have access to another monitor to try? If you have then you can quickly and easily identify where the problem is. Monitors are generally non repairable.
Do not under any circumstances open the monitor case, even when it's unplugged. There's nothing in there you can fix and CRT monitors can retain a residual voltage of up to 30,000 volts!

Try to take out your Ram clean it with an eraser, see to it that no moisture is left on your Ram or Rams then fix them back in properly. Dont forget to switch off your main electricity supply to your system before you do this.
