College english class. My teacher says we can type a paper about anything but I hate it when anyone says that because then I never know what the write about.
Any ideas?

Yea maby ill write about how i hate...or dont like picking a writing topic on my own.
I normally would talk about my music as drummer, guitarest or any of that or my welding skills but I allraedy did papers about that for some other project she gave out a few weeks ago.

Describe an experience. Like going on a roller coaster or the first time you saw the ocean. Or maybe even you're Grandmother's house.
Descriptive topics earn great points as they incorporate a lot of different language aspects.
And use descriptive nouns and verbs eg don't say "my grans cat" say "my Gran's big and cuddly cat" or "my Gran's hissy cat who likes to scratch".
These earn great marks on a simple topic.

Write about what you personally like. When I was in collage I wrote an English paper about my favorite authors, I got an A.

write a paper on the mental anguish caused by your teacher when she sets such open work. See if she takes the subtle hint.

- best job experience
- what knowledge you wish you could have gained in your life so far

okay your always better to write about something you know or that you've felt. has something good or bad ever happend to you or is there something in life that you would really like to do or have your ever witnessed anything bad or good.
