Racing legend in AU was killed when his car slammed into a tree during a rally race at Gidgegannup near Perth in Western Australia state.

Peter Brock was a motor racing driver who won many many many races. particularly famous for winning the Bathurst 1000 race 9 times. He always raced GM Holden cars
he retired from professional racing a few years back
he died during the the Western Australian Targa Rally... his car hit a tree. Strangely enough the car he was driving was designed by an American also named Peter Brock

He was a famous racing car driver and won several times at Mt Panorama in Bathurst. On Friday, he was in a rally and his car hit a tree. His navigator survived but Brockie was killed instantly.
