If you seriously stand to make a lot of money on this deal, go over there. You have to go there and see what is going on first hand.
Do you live in a major market. NY. Chicago?
I am originaly from Chicago. There are some nice German bars and restaurants there. I would hang out there and talk to some Germans and see if they can give you some contacts. Next to going to Germany, this may be your best bet. Lots of Germans in Wisconsin as well. Make like a detective!
Now if your venture has money to spend, go there!
