I was in bed sleeping. Heard the phone ring. I got up and answered it, it was my mom, she shouted, "NEW YORK JUST GOT BLOWN UP. I said, "WHAT?" I ran to to the living room, turned on the Tv and just missed the tail end of the second plane crashing into the 2nd tower. I was silent, so was my mom. That was the day I was going to travel over 600 miles to go visit her. Along my LONG drive home, I listened to the radio about NEW YORK this and that...all over...cried alone in my car, praying, praying..I even passed other drivers on the freeway and seen them crying and reaching their hands out their windows, just as I, praying to GOD....just praying. Before I left, my mom told me to call every few hours to let her know how I was doing and how the traveling was going for me. It took me 13 hours to get home. (as it usually does).
When I reached my home town, I couldn't WAIT to get to my moms house (the house I grew up in) I did and got out of my car, ran to the front door, meeting my mom and we HUGGED and HUGGED and HUGGED........and.....must I go on????

GOD BLESS!

I was at the dentist office in the dental chair. There was a TV on in the room and it was being covered. The TV out in the waiting room was on too. Everyone in the waiting room was crowded around the TV. We went to the Mall later and it was empty.

In bed, my husband let me sleep in he had the TV on in the livingroom. I got up to a different world , I remember asking him what are we going to do as if there was anything we could do. I wanted to go to New York and dig with my bare hands it was so unreal ,so frightening. I found comfort in God and from sketching images from the days to come, burned into the very cells of my being.

I live in Sydney Australia. It happened about 11pm our time. I was in bed and my brother rang to tell me to put on the tv. I didn't believe what he was saying and thought he had made a mistake. So I turned on the tv and sat there in shock for almost 24 hours still not believing what I was seeing.

visiting London.

I was in a restaurant and it started coming on TV. It was so tragic, I could not believe it was real. For the first minute I thought it was a sick promo to a movie.

I was at office in Bangalore. When i reached to my hangout place... my friends were discussing about... and we immediatly rushed to checkout on internet. Then confirmed and went to my friends place and watched TV whole night for latest update. It was really sad... it shouldn't have happened if pakistan helped CIA / FBI... and they didn't then they dont coz Bin-Laden is hiding in Pakistan...
