First of all sorry this is happening to you as I know it can be scary.
First of all you could dial the number without disclosing yours but do not do it just after a tex or call as they will know it is you wait a while until they have forgot what they did.
Second it is difficult to trace moblile numbers and not sure how you can.
Third you can put a block on your phone to stop this number.
Fourth ignore it as ingnoring hurst more and try and get on with your life. They are small minded people with nothing better to do sad I call them.

So you have the phone number right? Call up the service provider and explain the situation, they'll give you a name. However if they are unwilling then text the person who texts you and tell them that if they don't disclose their identity you will bar their number so that they can't text you anymore.
Since they're unwilling to tell you who they are I doubt calling them will give you any leads. The first option is best.

Ring them again, but put 141 before the number, that will with-hold your number from them, then pretend you're doing a survey or they're due a free upgrade or something, maybe you'll find out that way? good luck.

That's most probably one of your exes, that didn't get over you. Yeah, the best thing is to call the number from another phone.

Curiosity killed the cat. Have heard of that one? The "stalker" that keeps texting you without telling you who it is, is probably some psycho that you wouldn't want to know anyway. Ignore it and move on. Can't you text them back and tell them to f uck off?
