I'll try to condense this to a few suggestions.

There are a couple of ways to start writing when it seems you can't. One simple exercise is to start writing anything. Lists of states, types of pets, names of colors. If that doesn't work, find a copy of "Writing the Natural Way, by Gabrielle Rico. She describes a technique called clustering that not only helps you start writing, but also makes you a better writer.

Pagan books seem to sell well enough. Check your local bookstore and ask them which ones sell best.

Get a copy of the "2007 Writer's Market." It includes information for more than 4,000 markets and provides lots of tips for new writers. There's a companion book called "2006 Guide To Literary Agents," which might also be useful.

Write. Just write. About anything and everything. Start a blog and write in it every day. Comment on news articles and other blogs and books you've read. The more you write, the easier it will be, the better you'll get at it.
If you want to do fiction, NaNoWriMo is coming up. 50,000 words in 30 days. It's actually EASY but sounds hard. Check it out.
