The half horse half man is called a centaur. The Minotaur is half man half bull. There is also a creature that is half human half lion but I forget the spelling. I believe it is called a Lammassu?

Centaurus is the name for the species that had the head and the upper body of a human and the body and legs of a horse. They were born from Appollon and Evey. There were all male. Some of the most known Centauruses are: Nessos, Folos, Silinos, Evritionas.
