The E34 3.5 L engine is solid. Their 2.5 L and the 3.5 L engines are some of the most well-engineered engines of all time. Your doors might fall off before your engine fails.
One key thing is to make sure you get the car checked out by a shop that knows BMWs. They do have little weak spots that are not major problems at all, but left unattended because you're not familiar with it will lead to greater problems. The 3.5 L has a lot of low-end torque and the fuel economy is quite good.
Make sure the car's maintenance is kept up. Older Bimmers are very reliable as long as you do the required maint. onit. Mine has 170,000+ miles on it and I even auto-cross in it sometimes. Never left me stranded.
Don't listen to these ignorant fools. People run their mouths on things they don't know anything about. But an important concept is true: Buying a car is NEVER an investment. It loses vcalue as soon as your drive it off the lot.

confident this is actual. once you become older you will the two have a generative degree or a stagnation degree on your life. Generativity degree is once you think of roughly all the failings you have performed and the legacy which you will circulate away at the back of for the subsequent era. Stagnation degree is once you have long previous to self-absorption, that's you exclude your self from each little thing, state of being inactive, and meaninglessness are a bother-free concern. important life shifts ensue, important relationships, place of work, and communities, all play a function on your life. i could propose income from life. stay life out of the "social matrix" wherein we've been programmed with the help of the society. discover ways to furnish and motivate others. Do some thing wonderful, do some thing out of your convenience zone. Do some thing very efficient. learn a sparkling ability. circulate back to college. Be extra social. being concerned without being concerned. Being to blame and carefree on an identical time. basically stay life with none regrets. circulate after your desires and carve your guy or woman direction in life.

A car (unless it is a Bugatti or other antique) is NOT an investment. It is a consumable. A 17 year old 5 series will consume a lot of money.

that really depends. what is your purpose for buying the car. i would say it would be classy and cool to have one in your garage especially if you're the only one. however, technology and fashion will always beat vintage cause youngsters nowadays don't appreciate the genuine. so, if you're a collector of bmw, i say buy it. if you're not a collector then i say, why not try something new?

Only if you have it as a car for a show car purpose. Don't but a car older than 7 yrs old for an everyday car, just take my word for it, personal experience (too much stress and aggrivation).
