yeah you have a point, but it's anonymous so people feel emboldened to open up. You have to take the good with the bad.

For my part, I can handle the over sharing it's the unintelligent racism that irritates me.

Well, it's a fun topic to discuss with strangers who would not recognize (i.e., hold it against you) you if they met you...

Mind you, I don't know the question you complain about, as there are some questions and answers that really go over the top, but some people _may_ want to know what sexual positions other people are using... If you mind the question, just don't read it - I make a practice of reading only questions that sound interesting to me; and if I decide I don't like the question, I just give thumbs-down and leave without even reading answers, let alone answer myself...

And most people do have sex, in whatever position, more often than they read, say, philosophy, so it's rather normal that the topic will eventually come about in a such widely-open medium of communication.

Some people do. Sometimes I am one of those who is a little too open. It all depends on the question. I usually limit myself to what is asked but sometimes it's hard to interpret what the person really wants to know. Occasionally, I will purposefully overshare to try to shock some sense into a person.

Well, i don't believe they overshare....People are asking questions they possibly really don't know the answers to....Or maybe they just want to see how people will answer them...Not exactly to get an answer, but more of a reaction I think...

Y!A gives this kind of privilege to everybody.. Be them insecure people, inconfident adults, the laughing-stock of their shool or even those just seeking the 2 pointers..etc

I think some people who are asking questions want to give as much info as possible to get the right answer. And the same for people answering questions, they also want to give as much info as possible.

Just my opinion.

The report abuse flag didn't just show up for nothing. People keep trying to make this forum into something obscene.
